New Zealand Tour 2010 ニュージーランド親子留学
Are you interested in going to New Zealand with your child?
Teragoya's special tour is for children aged 4-6 and their mom's.
The kids will attend a local preschool and enjoy their daily program.
They will take part in many nature activities such as visiting a farm park, going to the beach,
and cruising! Teragoya staff will also go on the tour.
We also have tours for elementary and junior high school children,
so please feel free to contact our schools if you have any questions!
お子さまに現地のプレスクールに通ってもらい、実際のクラスを体験できます。ファームパークやビーチへ行ったりクルージングしたりと、ニュージーランドの自然を満喫できるアクティビティもいっぱい！ 寺小屋スタッフも同行しますから、大変安心です。 この親子留学は、２０１０年７月出発のツアーで、幼稚園／保育園生が対象です。

Teragoya Students Visit Canada
Four of our students visited Toronto, Canada in August 2007, where they studied English at a local school and stayed with home stay families.
２００７年８月に、寺小屋の生徒４人がカナダのトロントに短期留学をしました。現地の語学学校に通い、ホームステイもして、充実のトロントライフを送りました！

It was my first time to visit Canada. My host family and the local people were very kind.
I enjoyed seeing the Niagara Falls, watching MLB, and shopping at the weekend.
初めてのカナダでしたが、ホストファミリーも現地の人もとても親切で楽しかったです。
ナイアガラ、野球観戦、ショッピング等、オフの日も充実した１０日間でした。

My host family was from Portugal and I had fun chatting with my host grandpa and grandma. I ate traditional Portuguese dishes.
I used the metro system in the city to go to school. At school there were many students from Spain and also one from Saudi Arabia.
I didn't have any Japanese classmates but I had a lot of fun.
ホストファミリーがポルトガルからの移民のおじいちゃんとおばあちゃんでした。２人ともおしゃべり好きでたのしかったです。ポルトガル料理もたくさん食べました♪市内の移動は地下鉄で、ばっちりでした！学校にはスペインからの留学生がたくさんいました。サウジアラビア人もいてびっくりしました。日本人は同じクラスにはいなかったけど、すごくたのしかったです。
| Koji Yamada I really enjoyed Toronto! The school I went to every day in Toronto was similar to Teragoya, so I could get into it very easily. The purpose of students of the school was the same, to learn English, so everyone listened to each other carefully and tried to understand each other. Of course so did I! Sometimes I went out drinking with the other classmates and it was fun. I had classes in the morning but none in the afternoon, so I could go to lots of places by metro. Sometimes I got lost but it was a good chance to ask the local people. I was bit worried if I could ask question correctly but they kindly helped me. If I had had more time there, I could have gone further and made more friends. My short stay was terrific! Toronto was the perfect place for me because I could try a lot of things in 10 days that regular Japanese people can only do in a year. とにかくすごい楽しかったです！ 「行きたいな～」と思っていた自分が「行ってきます」に発想を変えただけでこんなにも変わるんだな，と実感しました。挑戦することに年齢は関係ない！ 地下鉄や市バスに初トライ！すごい勇気のいる行動でしたが、すごい自信が持てました。トロント人の人柄かもしれないけど、バスのドライバーに「どこそこで降りたい」と英語で話しかけたらちゃんと通じたみたいで、ドライバーさん「ここだよ」って教えてくれました。 Torontoで毎日通った学校のスタイルが寺小屋と似ていてすごい入り込みやすかったです。学校に通う目的はみんな同じだから、人の話を一生懸命聞いて、理解しようと努力してくれる人ばかりでした。もちろん自分もです！学校で仲良くなった人と飲みに行ったり、すごい楽しかったです。午前中に授業があり、午後は自由だったので地下鉄を乗り継いであちこち行って、道に迷って、人に聞いたり。こんな質問の仕方で分かってくれるのか？と思ってもちゃんと教えてくれたり。もっと時間があったら、もっと行動範囲が広がるし、学校の友達ももっといっぱい作れるのに。 今回の短期留学は最高の気分でした。普通に社会人であれば年間通して行動するようなことを１０日間みっちりやった感じに思うくらいTorontoはすばらしい都市でした。 |

I stayed in Toronto for about 2 weeks, and I enjoyed learning English and communicating with people from many countries. I could exp
erience many new things and I grew through those experiences.
I went to a language school called LSI, and I also enjoyed various experiences such as visiting famous sightseeing spots, and watchi
ng MLB, the concert of a famous artist.
I only stayed for 2 weeks but I'm proud of myself that I tried communicating as much as possible. Now I feel more confident to both
speak and listen to English.
今回トロントに約２週間滞在してみて語学だけでなく、たくさんの国の人たちと接することができ、多くの刺激を貰うことが出来たと思います。また自分の視野もより一層広がった気がします。
LSIという学校に通った以外でも観光名所とされる場所や地元チームの野球観戦、有名アーティストのコンサートなど、様々な貴重な体験をさせてもらいました。
約２週間という短い滞在でしたが、その中で私は出来る限りコミュニケーションを図り、悔いのない滞在が出きたと思うし、英語を話したり、聞き取ったりする抵抗感が以前より少なくなったことを実感しています。
